Club Lunch Meeting @Cicciotti’s with Alan Lerchbacker, Navy Diver for Space Shuttle Challenger

Space Shuttle Challenger exploded on takeoff killing all on board.  Including on of the first civilian, a school teacher.

As the Nation mourned US Navy frogmen were sent immediately to the site to recover what they could so NASA could investigate.

Alan Lerchbacker retired USN Captain, Navy EOD diver was Officer in charge of the mission.  His presentation will detail this incredible mission and historical event.  A most unique opportunity to hear first hand.
