The Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club brought the spirit of giving to the holiday season by gathering an impressive collection of unwrapped toys to support the U.S. Marine Corps’ annual Toys for Tots campaign. Over the first weeks of December, Rotary members diligently collected toys at their weekly lunch meetings, filling a giant box with gifts for needy children.
The festive culmination of their efforts took place on December 8th at the Cardiff 101 Kringle Mingle event, where Club President Chris Davis personally delivered the toys to representatives from the Marine Corps. The donation was warmly received and will help brighten the holidays for families throughout the community.
“Our members take great pride in giving back, especially during the holiday season when the need is so great,” said Davis. “This collection reflects our club’s commitment to making a positive impact in our local community.”
