The Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club proudly distributed nearly $22,000 to three deserving
local nonprofits, thanks to proceeds from its highly successful Annual Golf Ball Drop and
Silent Auction held in May 2024. This year’s beneficiaries were Lifeline Community
Services, Boys & Girls Club, and Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, each addressing
critical needs within the community.

Representatives from these nonprofits were on hand to accept their funds and be
recognized for their ongoing contributions. Nicole Morquel, representing Lifeline
Community Services, highlighted how the funds will further their mission to combat
human trafficking and provide essential support services. Celina Rosillo, from the Boys
& Girls Club, shared how the donation will help continue their vital work supporting the
development and well-being of local youth. Sandra Lehmkuhler, from Warrior
Foundation Freedom Station, emphasized the importance of aiding young veterans in
transitioning back to civilian life.

These three organizations serve distinct and important segments of the population, all
of which the Rotary Club is deeply passionate about helping. From empowering children
at the Boys & Girls Club to providing critical support for survivors of human trafficking
and assisting veterans in their journeys after military service, each nonprofit plays a
crucial role in enhancing the lives of those in need.

The Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club extends heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors,
community participants, and attendees who made this event possible. Your generosity
directly impacts the lives of many, and we hope to see you all again next May to support
even more local causes!
